SPF 1991 Event Series
June – September, 2019
What’s “SPF 1991”? It’s a SUMMER VACATION COLLABORATION!
We’re looking to bring in new audiences to the gallery and what better way than a little summer fun?! Instead of a traditional gallery exhibit, we’re hosting an event series and an on-going mural project with local artists.
CARNIVAL | June 1
Join us in the gallery for carnival games, music, a photo booth, palm reading, tattoos and more! The fun is free and open to the public. RSVP here.
GARAGE SALE | June 15
For the second installment of our summer event series we are hosting a community garage sale at the gallery! All of the proceeds from this event will benefit a great non-profit, Home Sweet Home, which serves to help St. Louis community members transitioning out of homelessness. RSVP here.
ARTS & CRAFTS | July 13
We are hosting a family friendly afternoon of craft making with local nonprofit Perennial inspired by your favorite summer camp experiences. You will be able to make your own burlap weaving, macrame bracelets, kites and styrofoam block prints while enjoying the best snacks the '90s had to offer! RSVP here.
ENERGY | July 27
Reinvigorate during the dog days of summer with a yoga session led by Brianna Owens of Practicing Yoga and refresh afterward with kombucha samplings provided by Confluence Kombucha! RSVP and purchase tickets here.
MURAL | September 5
Join us the evening of September 5th to celebrate the completion of our summer-long mural project by Edo Rosenblith, Janie Bootsie Stamm, Yowshien Kuo, and WORK/PLAY! Complimentary refreshments will be provided and this event is free and open to the public. RSVP here.
